5these assumptions are widely held even in my school because its normal for people to make these assumptions and have uncounscious biases.

2 the leaflet is aimed at people that tend to judge others based on what theyre wearing, i dont think its appealing to teenagers because they care more about appearance than personality

We've heard them a lot of times, and we don't agree, as every person thinks differently, therefore you can't generalize their thoughts or opinions.

Another common bias that we can recall in our society is gender bias.

Example: kids making fun of other kids for their accent, not accepting someone in a group, because of their skin color

Impact: they have a harder time being accepted in social groups

Example to disprove bias: Barack Obama - 44th president of USA . He was the first African American president, and he worked on healthcare reform, economic recovery and promoting equality and inclusion

Examples: Many think that women aren't biologically strong enough to practice motorsports and that they should do house work instead of fast-paced racing.

Impact: Many women that are told they are not good enough to follow their dreams often give up and follow careers which they don't enjoy.

Example to disprove: Surprisingly enough for people with this opinion, F1 doesn't have a gender-related restriction. Moreover, there is the F1 Academy for women to participate in, for example Abbi Pulling won a lot of podiums and also the title of World Champion in 2024.

The gender bias is a form of uncounscious bias,something you think but might not be aware of. Lets take work discrimination for example,former Pinterest COO Brougher sued the company for gender discrimination,resulting in a 22.5$ million settlement.

Mental health struggles-persistent bias contributes to burnout and psychological trauma among women striving to overcome systemic barriers.

It also gives career limitations-gender bias in hiring restricts womens opportunities,often leading to wage gaps.

Studies show that women experience more intense and frequent pain than man yet they are less likely to receive adequate pain management.🫤
