M1
This was another article in module 1 that really spoke to me. My mother is a Senior Vice President of Bank of America. She had to fight for 16 long years; most of the managers she has had were male. She fought for fair compensation throughout Bank of America, without public appearance, and changed the wages for women within the company. Woman have proven themselves to be just a productive, if not more productive, as their male counter parts. Women deserve equal pay. This helped me reflect on a different module that talks about workplace culture and made we think about how my mother fits into the culture she is incorporated with.

M1
Managerial Efficiency is the proportion of total organizational resources that contribute to productivity. This definition opened my eyes to what "efficient" really means. When something is efficient, it gets the job done in the most cost effective and least timely manner. This helped me understand how managers lay out processes and form specific goals for their teams in relation to the four organizational resources.

I would simply immerse myself in the culture I had to adapt my company to. If I was going to start a campaign in Asia, I would dedicate resources toward a business trip to engage the community. I would spend quite some time in the area I wished to move my business in order to thoroughly understand the needs of the market I would be adapting to.
