Thank you for all your hard work and effort that you have put in whilst we are going through this pandemic. Thank you for your kindness and generosity to all of us. Thank you for being so understanding in everything. 

It must be really hard having to teach us students and work as a teacher during this crisis when everyone is at home.

This is a new experience for all of us and I think you are doing a great job in keeping things as normal as possible.

 

The hardest thing for me at the moment is not being about to go to school to see my teachers, my friends and my homeroom, because those are the things I treasure most when I go to school every day. It’s hard not being able to see everyone as things used to be, but this is life and we are going to get through it. We just need to help each other, and I think you are doing an extremely good job at helping all of us.

 

Personally, I think this pandemic is helping me see those things I am grateful for. People are losing their lives, people are losing their relatives and so during this time, I have reflected on what I am grateful for. I am so lucky to go to Santa Maria College. The community there is so welcoming that it helps me through every single day. That’s what I’m grateful for. The Santa Maria Community, because in a way, they are like my second family. 

 

All of us Year 10’s are extremely lucky to have you as our Dean so I would just like to take this time to thank you so much for your efforts. We really appreciate it.

 

I’m looking forward to going back to school, being able to see those that motivate me to get up in the morning to go to school 😊.
