For assessment I will offer students the chance to do a paper and pencil test or a digital quiz and allow the use of counters or math manipulatives at each table for students who may need them.

Formative Assessment Strategies Used

-I will use formative assessment is having students model and explain their thinking in a class discussion format of a focus question.

-I will also utilize T-P-S Think Pair Shares by allowing students to speak with peers in pairings to think out loud.

-I will also incorporate Math games related to the lesson such as creating a “Classroom Jeopardy” game where the questions are math questions.
