Nowadays, juveniles are trying out outlawed drugs at a young age, which can have many negative effects on both those minors and the people around them. This essay will discuss the harm of this action and suggest some possible solutions to it.

One vital consequence is that using drugs can give the kids several health issues very early on in life. For example, the use of drugs can affect the brain and thus, the users' ability to process thoughts and memorize things, or it can give them cancer, cavity and bad breath. Another result of using dopes is addiction, which can be very bad for young people. Many of the youths seek out for drugs as a coping mechanism for their mental problems, such as stress or depression, but not only does this affect their physical health as mentioned above, it also makes the users become dependent and act in problematic ways while refusing help with their mental issues. This kind of behavior may lead to damages to both the people around them, as hallucinations, mood swings and other effects of using dope can trigger the young addicts into becoming violent.

There are several concrete steps we can take to combat this threat such as drug education. Since simply restricting the use of these harmful products does not entirely prevent them from being spread around, it is best that we are prepared for that by teaching kids from all ages about the danger of consuming drugs, so that even when the adults are not around to look out for them, they still know that drugs are bad and should be avoided. However, despite knowing all that, many young people will still choose to use drugs to get by hard times of their lives, which can be attributed to numerous causes, such as family issues, bullying and stress in general. Each of these issues require specific solutions of their own, but the main objective of all of them is to make a safer, more positive environment for children to grow and develop, so that they never have to rely on the use of drugs. For those who have already gotten themselves down the path of dopes, the government should establish therapy programs to help them get their lives back on track.

In conclusion, drug abuse among the young generation these days can have many consequences regarding both the addicts and other people's health. In order to tackle this issue, drug education must be enforced and the authorities need to ensure the safety of children's living environment as well as helping victims of drug abuse to recover from their addictions.
