Ideology war : forced people into believe to a certain ideology by sacrificing hundreds of thousands people for the sake of interest. Some people call it necessity. There's an old saying : 'The old who declare the war, while the young who fight and die for it."

Because people hates difference, they would most likely force their ideals even by the means of brute force.

Because some people think that their ideology is the best and they don't respect others with different ideology (can be religion or anything else).

I think, it is because they have "something" important to fighting for. Maybe in our eyes their doing wrong, but for them this is very reasonable to do.

War is nearly as old as the history of human. When human live as groups united by similar ideologies, interest, or religions there shall be wars or when human live together as one, under god ( Scorpions), there SHALL be wars. It might be possessions ( John Lennon), but it wouldn't be as simple. It might be in the gene or probably brains? but hey, animals DO fight. As far as I know, they do it for two reasons; Food and Sexual libido. These two qualities , unsurprisingly, are the same as our motives for wars. Or are they actually the only two reasons? forget about ideologies and religions. They are made by human as reasons to create more wars, so their reasons for wars sound more HUMANE.
