It shows the author's thoughts and feeling about Denise and being sent away. The informational text tells about what life was like in the camps and tells why people are being sent away and what happened during those times. The poem is different from a story because the poem is in first person which lets the reader experience what the author was feeling. In the informational text, it gives us the backstory on what made the executive order's existence and that many Japanese-Americans were forced to go to these camps in which they had harsh and not so good living conditions, especially with the barbed wire at the end. The girl's friend ended up not trusting her because of an event. It made me so mad that America just said that to not trust any Japanese-Americans and it was just stupid. In the informational text it tells of how they had to relocated from where they were. And how they had to find a way to make at least better than what they used to have in the camp.
