In the article food webs can support food chains that are long complicated. This short food chain is one part of the forest's food food web. Another food chain in the same ecosystem might involve completely different organism. Bacteria and fungi help decompose the remaining bones of the roadrunner.

There are decomposers, the break down bodies. Apex predators hunt other animals. Finally, there are herbivores, who don't eat meat.

The central idea of the story Food web was to explain how the food webs around the world work. For example in the in the story within the 2 paragraph it explains about how the cycle of the food chain works. Also to support this claim in paragraph 3 it states a caterpillar may eat the leaves off a tree a sparrow may eat the caterpillar and then the snake eats the sparrow and the hawk will eat the snake making it a apex predator. And then lastly after the hawk dies the plants consume its decomposing body and the cycle goes on forever.

In the article from "Food Webb" this article was based off how there are many food webs in one food web. They tell us about different food webs like forest food webs witch includes rabbits eats the grass and foxes eat the rabbit. they give more examples like in a desert it says that the road runner eat insects and the road runner are ate by snakes. Food webs can also have an apex predator. An example is if the the roadrunner eats the insects, the roadrunners are ate by snakes and the snakes are ate by the apex preditor the eagle.
