During the training he had been diagnosed with Sickle cell trait and was advised to stay home for a week, when he had returned to the doctor after a week, he has been told that he could return to the training, but the commander said he would have to do it all over again, he decided not to. He then proceeded to serve as member of the United States Air Force Tactical Air Control Party also known as TACP after completing successful training. The Rainforest Foundation UK was founded in 1989 by Sting after they saw first-hand the impact the destruction of the Amazon rainforests had on the Kayapo Indians’ way of life. This sparked the Foundation’s first campaign which, in 1993, resulted in the protection of 27,359 km² of indigenous peoples’ land. The Foundation has expanded, and has worked in more than 20 countries towards the mission of “supporting indigenous peoples and traditional populations of the world’s rainforest to protect their rainforest homes and fulfill their rights to land, life and livelihood”.

I think it is a good cause to support, as they are saving many trees that are precious for the lives of human beings and saving habitats that are precious for living beings and indigenous peoples

He is one of the most famous actors in the current world and a lot of people don't know that he contributes to the environment. Making countless donations worth of millions and millions of dollars every year.And if you don't know, he was very helpful to the wild fires from Amazonia last year, donating ,approximately, 50 millions dolars to the cause.

He is my favourite eco-friendly celebrity.

Pitt was na nomed as one of “15 people who make America great “for bringing a attention to causes in Africa, in Newsweek magazine.

He travelled to Africa to help raise awareness for the make poverty history campaign.

The actor and his former wife, Angelina Jolie, donated $8 million to charity in 2006.

He took part in a charity telethon to raise money for the families of the victims 9/11.

These are only some of his many projects and I admire him a lot because he keeps fighting for a better world.

If I can I will try to help the environment by recycling, reusing, saving energy and donating some money to eco-friendly organisation.

I chose Leonardo Dicaprio because he dedicates a large part of his time to environmental causes, through his foundation. In addition to the environment, it also supports causes such as the defense of animal rights. He made donations several times following tragedies such as earthquakes or tsunamis. Its foundation supports projects for the protection of endangered animal species in order to restore the balance of the ecosystem and communities.
As an actor and celebrity, Leonardo has the ability and visibility to raise funds that support these noble causes. I would do the same because I am absolutely in favor of the mission of its foundation and the actions it promotes.
