Teachers do not always allow enough time for kids to think and form an answer. If kids could form questions it may make social studies more applicable to their lives

Designing Coherent Instruction:
There are so many skills addressed in each unit, that teachers consistently feel frustrated that they are not adequately addressing all student needs in all areas. Backmapping each unit is one solution, but there also needs to be a year-long backward map to include a cohesive plan for infusing all areas of the content. I think this year-long backmap will alleviate some of this frustration.
