While reading the article, I thought otherwise, that it was exploitation. I thought it was just about placing the work or abuse in a way so as not to pay him what is really worth what is provided

While reading the article, I understood that it was more than giving part of what we had created with our bodies and minds to the company or our boss. I realized that this was more valuable than I imagined, because of course by not creating or contributing to creativity we become valued as much as anything, that every part of our work consists of parts of the body and mind, which means that we sell it , what we create or do, it is very interesting at this point when it is said that an explosion is a work that is given by an Individual to another.

Well, I could say that as Latinas we are very associated with exploitation since we as Latinos contribute it could say much more than what is required of us as employees the exploitation in Latinos has been seen for a long time not only in Latinos but also in other different groups of race of which today we have tried to cope or rather finish but it is not completely finished because sometimes it is inevitable not to be able for exploitation since it occurs daily.

At first, when I start this class, I had a different point of view of marginalization I know it was something strong in our community, but now I think it’s something that affects people in life style. I will say the marginalization is to treat people in a different way, depending how they look like such as race, age, status, and sexuality
Or also we can say that you can see marginalization in your work, at home, for example we can say the in your job they are not paying enough for your work and you are doing more work than others but we had these examples are going to tell you that you need to do it because you’re new and you need to learn a lot of stuff and that things that you were gonna learn going to help you later, but they are just putting more work in your back also, we have disabled people in this list, because people start treating disable people in a bad way just because they are missing something that we have or they just can’t do it as us. So that’s one is people star calling them disabled and that means that people gonna feel and they are always going to think that they’re gonna they have to be in that position forever just because people thought that they need to be there always.
And also, we were looking more generalization in class when the professor started talking in about probation in class so we got a lot examples such as people in jail doesn’t have the same opportunities after they leave they don’t have the same education, they don’t have same opportunities in jobs like how we have, and also people are gonna think that day are you gonna do the same things that they did in the pass just because they did it once so people think that they’re gonna keep doing that even the change, so there is when we can see marginalization because they don’t have the scene opportunities again just because people start thinking about them differently so that’s how we put marginalización in practice.

I think that like a favorite is they are related to marginalization are

Race

Gender

Age

Disability

For example, when we say race we can relate this to a Latino, black, Indian, Philippines, and Chinese people as Latina we can say that people going to think that they are gonna steal or they are going to sell some drugs like a Black people just do some people in race did it that doesn’t mean that we are going to do it, as Indian,Philippine in Chinese people I can give you this example people think that they are just Chinese because of the shape of their eyes.

We have some examples and gender also that they’re not gonna give you one position just cause you’re bi, gay or even you are transgender just because they are homophobic and “they don’t want people like that” sometimes at her when people say that they don’t support that and they don’t like it, but they don’t want that people close to them.

We can see also marginalization in age for example people that has more than 40 or 50 years in my country didn’t have any job or one opportunity like here in United States so they cannot work anymore after 40s or 50s because in my country dating that people who has that age they don’t have the same energy like young people.

Disabilities is the last one, but not the less important because I’m going to start talking or think that if you don’t have one leg or one arm you cannot do things like people often do.

Marginalization is the act of relegating or confining a group of people to a lower social standing or outer limit or edge of society. Overall, it is a process of exclusion.

I really liked the video we saw in class. It made me very interesting on the subject of linguistic potential for me. It is a way to limit how we learn to speak, whether they are people from other countries or the jargon that is in the country limits us the way we express words in the sense that we want to do it. Making abbreviations does not mean that we are speaking badly. Maybe it is a way to facilitate the difficulty of a word. I think they are not letting us be free because I do not personally believe that I could say what is right or wrong with a person just because of the accent they have or the tone of voice they use.
