It's a cool place where the sunlight is reflected at sunset. It's close to the entrance of the university on 25th street. This place has a lot of nature, it's isurrounded by trees, around it there are several tables. Being there, you can rest, it's very cool and breezy.

Our outside English class!

Last Monday, my classmates and I went out our classroom and went out to explore the campus. The places that we saw were the lake, the José Antonio Galán Air Auditorium, the Centro de Escucha next to the Bienestar Campestre and the last place, the sport zone (soccer's fields, voleyball's fields, basketball's fields, softball diamon, athletic track and the skate part).

When we were walking around, we figurate out that we really like those places because the campus provides to the students spots to do excercise and be in another space, not just the classroom.

In the other hand, you can go there, and hang out with your friends. You can chill there, talk, play and put away thoughts about academy stuff.

We would love to know more about those places like if there any professional's teams that practices at the fields or how much time it has? Did the students that study here 10 years ago play there? Are just some questions that go araund our mind.

On Monday, March 4th, 2024, together with my partner Ammy Ardila, we went to tour the university and its different places (some of them we did not know), we started going out by the new Humanas building, we started taking pictures, it was very funny that we saw several fruit trees of mangos and guayabas.

The place we both liked the most was being next to the Bienestar Pro building, we found it very peaceful and quiet, it was very calm and there were mangos.

The place is a green area, there are trees, chairs to chat with your friends, you can listen to the birds and watch the beautiful sunsets.

We would like to know about this place: What inspiration did you have for the design of the building and what did you take into account for the organization of the place? Why there in that place and not in another of the university?

The simplest paths sometimes hide beautiful memories. This photograph was taken on a wonderful spring day, in the UIS between the months of February and April the trees usually bloom and drop their flowers forming colorful carpets. This green space is between two buildings of the university, the Camilo Torres building and the new Human Sciences building (Humanas 2). Although the most common thing to do would be to walk, in this place you can take a break to breathe and contemplate sunsets. Students from different careers walk these paths.

Last monday, we were exploring the UIS. We liked the dynamics of the TUNA UIS, because we have been to their concerts and María Alejandra is a member of this group.

The TUNA UIS is an artistic group of the UIS that performs various musical genres. This group has performed at national and international festivals and every year, has three major concerts in the auditorium Luis A. Calvo. It has several awards and recognitions that leave high to the tuna and the university. Its members are students from different academic programs of the UIS and rehearse from monday to friday, usually at noon, in a room located in the cultural direction. In this place, students develop their musical talents such as singing, dancing and playing instruments.

We went last Monday to walk around the university campus with our classmates. We were exploring around the university and saw the great diversity of plants and flowers inside the campus, we were impressed by the great variety of flowers, so we decided to get to know all the flowers present on the campus. We walked around the university and took pictures of the flowers we found. During our search, we discovered a botanical garden located near the "El Diamante" court. Although we were not able to enter, we saw a video that provided us with information about what was inside, which aroused our curiosity. We now wish to obtain permission to enter and explore this place, to base our project on the botanical garden. From what we could appreciate from an external perspective this is a place surrounded by flowers, many plants, a fountain, and a building where we believe they do research on the biodiversity of the area. In the long term, we would like to know its founder, what types of procedures and research are done there, and what other types of plants and flowers besides the sights are found inside.

Last Monday, together with my friend Elias, motivated by our passion for sports, we took the initiative to visit the courts of the UIS, which are very spacious and beautiful, have very comfortable spaces, and are very well maintained. We would like to know the history behind these recreational spaces, who are the people who support the activities and what is the budget that the university destines to these recreational activities.
