Food supply impacted the mesopotamia society by making sure that people had enough food. Another way food supply impacted the mesopotamian society was by they had a lot of good crop supply. This evidence suggests that providing a stable food supply is a pretty hard thing to do. This also states that the process of doing it has gotten more and more figured out. One other reason that a stable food supply is more important is that having a good and healthy food supply for your family is incredibly important.

However, some people disagree with the belief that food supply is the most influential characteristic of a society; they might argue that the government is the most influential. According to Document 5: Government, “It was important because it created a set of rules that helped to govern a civilization while trying to protect people even if they had little political power.” meaning that they are a big part of the society.
