Hearing “swish” all day

I am from rec leagues and travel

Sweat dripping on the court and the shoes squeaking loudly

I am from laughing at Papaw Gramps

His jokes were hilarious 

I am speeding past on the Dragster

Me and Dad screaming through the thrill.

 

I am from vacationing to Sedona 

VIsiting the Indian’s desert houses

I am from Los Angeles resorts

Watching the luxury cars and sports cars 

Wishing that I lived that movie star life

On the balcony 

I sat with my Mom and Dad

Watching fireworks on the 4th of July 

Watching trains and planes as they go by
