The iPads were meant to enable students to download specialized software applications, for example, Epocrates, a detailed reference guide on medication. This was intended for use by students in the viewing of various course materials, for instance, electronic documents, PowerPoint presentations. The iPads also act as translators in case the student is to serve patients with whom they speak different languages (Archibald et al., 2014).

The use of iPads in nurse clinical experiences is key to enhancing the quality as well as the speed of health care services to patients. This is due to the provisions known as applications within the iPads which can help access patient health records, detailed drug guide as well as coursework to help nurse students in serving their patients. Involving technology in the healthcare center ensures that patients are admitted faster as well as given quality services at the minimal time possible (Snodgrass et al, 2016).
