Typhon: This is an online system that is used to admit patients to the hospital. It can also be used by students in storing their courseworks as well as going through them in an electronic document form, for example, Word or PowerPoint.  

Epocrates: This is a detailed reference guide for which enhances the access to patient information. 

Translators are used to ensure that the communication between the students and the patients is not interfered by language barrier. 

FaceTime/ Photos/ Videos are used to relay photos as well as videos to enhance the patients' understanding through diagrams and videos.

iTunes & AirPlay are used to play nonvisual recordings. 

All of these applications and much more can be found in the App Store.

During Trotter's Fall course, she made her students use iPads to help them in serving their patients. Most students confessed to having achieved much beyond their expectations using the iPads. They were able to access their coursework resources as well as patient information which was very vital in ensuring that they delivered quality as well as quick health care services to these patients (Arinola & Clouder, 2015).
