Question Regarding Options?

I thought the board narrowed it down to a handful of options? On the various email threads and Facebook posts people are discussing options that were not on the original list and options that were dismissed by the board. Shouldn't we focus on discussing only the ones the board has approved? Thanks for your clarification.

Closing AES

I completely agree with Jen Fourman & Leslie Perricone & Emily Principe. AES is an iconic landmark in Alpine and closing AES will send a negative message to the community. In addition, Jen Fourman is correct, the community is, and always has been, looking for a FULL SERVICE high school with football fields, swimming pool, etc. We are a K-8 district and should focus on strengthening, supporting, and promoting the schools we have. Small class sizes are a priority for the teachers and we need to have enough classrooms/campuses to support smaller class sizes and enrichment programs. We have great schools & teachers and closing a campus doesn't send a message of strength, but one of defeat.
