implementing standards-based grading, implementing intervention programs to target students performing below standard on high

stakes assessments, and implementing regular test prep experiences and practice tests into the daily life of the school (such as high stakes assessment questions as starters, weekly short practice quizzes aligned with high stakes assessments with public celebration of successes, teaching test taking strategies, etc).
Goal 2: To enhance the NVMI data dashboard and increase the use of its data to improve all school metrics. Action Step: includes tasks to improve the usability, functionality, robustness, and accessibility of the dashboard. 
Goal 3: to infuse college going culture and college and career success into the four NVMI pillars. 

Action Steps: hiring more academic counselors to enable more focused counseling for each student and fully implement a tracking system for graduates. Company counselors will implement the revised LOC 12 College Preparedness curriculum to include presentations from at least 10 colleges annually. 
Goal 4:  implement and enhance behavioral and socioemotional support systems for NVMI stakeholders to improve student

success. Action Step: to attain this

goal include providing enhanced explicit instruction during Entrance Camp on Executive Function skills, including planners, notebooks, backpack, organization, Cornell Notes, study and test-taking strategies, etc., improving daily attendance per grade level

and reducing chronic absenteeism by build a school going culture by increased positive communication and activities with school

staff, setting monthly attendance goals with teachers and staff and measure progress, implementing SART/SARB SOPs with fidelity

and implementing a more robust reward system for attendance. 

Goal 5:  is to more fully inculcate the military academy culture and processes throughout all four school pillars. Action steps are to increase involvement in interscholastic team participation including making sure that the maximum number of cadets qualify in terms of GPA and citizenship, promote buy in of the military program by encouraging students to successfully get promoted at least once each semester. 

Goal 6: ensure the long-term financial health of the school Action Step: through fundraising, business and community partnerships, grant-writing, and long-term facilities planning secure the financial health of school
