Nowadays transport services are so important in the tourism industry . It generates many jobs and is almost 30% of expenses when people travel.

Mendoza has many means of transport to move around the city. When arriving here the first thing is to leave the airport, the most convenient thing is to take a taxi even though it is a bit expensive, the other option is to rent a car and return it when you leave.

For your stay in Mendoza you have several options, if you choose renting a car at the airport it can be used to transport you throughout the trip. It is the most comfortable option and there are different models and categories that adapt to the number of passengers. Grants freedom, without schedules or restrictions .In Argentina, the price of renting a car starts at 1,100 pesos per day

The other option is to move on the city bus line. It has some advantages because it is cheaper than rent a car and also we have an app with bus departure and arrival times throughout the city. The app is mendotran and you can download it to your phone to plan the schedules of your city tours or outings. The downside is that you can't carry a lot of luggage because they don't allow you to get on the bus. Also with this app we can include our short train that it is just for the city

The city is not very big so you can choose to use the bikes that the government lends or rent one! The system works with an app too in which it shows you the stations where you can borrow a bike and then return it to the nearest station. If you don't return it, you can be fined. The bicycle is more environmentally friendly than the car and the buses

You can choose any of these option to get to the most interesting places like The San Martin park , the city center or some museums . They are some of a lot of means of transports that there are but they are very common ,here
( https://youtu.be/hVJOyy-ooH8 ) you can watch a video of the most peculiar transports in the world

http://www.voydeviaje.com.ar/mundo/las-ventajas-de-alquilar-un-auto

https://www.elsol.com.ar/mendotran-donde-consultar-horarios-y-recorridos

https://ciudaddemendoza.gob.ar/en-la-bici/
Florencia Flores - Valentina Lozano
