- No paragraphs

- Avoid too many pictures

- Have a hook

- Think outside of the screen (what you look like, how you move around the room). You are the focus.

- Ask questions, get your audience engaged and interactive.

- Pay attention to designs (don't dress up your pages with silly effects and designs). Keep it simple and basic.

- One thing at a time. Explain each bullet before moving onto the next, otherwise the audience will have read all of the info and will be waiting for you to catch up.

- Write a script, know what you are going to say for each slide.

-keep sentences short 10-20 words

-talk at a natural moderate rate of speech

-keep eyes on audiance

-make a list of key words/content for each slide

-jump right into the point

-Backgrounds should never distract from the presentation

-numbers are confusing to the audience so use as few as possible

-font size must be large enough to read

-background shouldn't distract the audience

-dont turn your back to the audience

-use ariel, helvetica, calibri

-use font size that is big enough for the person in the back can read it

-Use the 6 by 6 rule, 6 lines per slide and 6 words per image

- If the audience needs more than 60 seconds to understand something then its too complex

-Make sure each picture has one idea only

- When using color, make it thin because it is distracting to the audience when it is thick font.
