Which activities seem to be the most important? What efforts were made to ensure that
business people were honest? Which occupations or artisans should take out

The economic activity that occurred in the Babylonian kingdom was, in my mind, strict and fair. If you disturbed or held any destruct to such land, you would have to pay back in full. If one cannot fulfill the requirement, he and his goods shall be sold. Hammurabi's code states, "And a breach has broken out in his dike, and the waters have flooded the meadow [farmland], the man whose dike broke shall restore the corn he has caused to be lost."

The occupation or artisan of Malpractice Insurance is the holding medical profession accountable for death or injuries that could have been reasonably prevented. "If a doctor heals the limb of a free man, the patient shall pay 5 sheckles or silver to the doctor" If the doctor didn't fix him, they would be held accountable for his actions and get punished if it was a reasonable injury that could have been fixed.

In Hammarabbi's code in this section building and agriculture seem to be the biggest of worries for the people. Therefore, farming was very important to the people and had harsh rules to keep the people in line. One example of this connecting to farming is when, "If a freeman opens an irrigation system for watering and left it open, and the water has flooded the neighbor's field, he should pay him the average crop." (Rule 55.)

To ensure that business between people were honest and fair, receipt's were given to document any deals made. If the deal is not fair between a merchant and an agent, "that agent shall put the merchant on oath before the elders, and the merchant, because he has defrauded the agent, shall pay the agent six fold what he misappropriated". The government would put out guidelines for any payments to make the sure payments were right, as seen with the payment of any procedures done.
