It's no surprise that issues with her mental health would begin to take hold as her rise to stardom happened rather fast. She was only a teenager when she sold her first album and it became one of the biggest best-selling albums ever by a teenage artist ever. She got married twice, lost her kids, and has been under a conservatorship in which she has no control over her life. Why is she under a conservatorship? She has some sort of mental illness, but it is assumed she has bipolar disorder, as she had a public breakdown once before in 2008. She had gotten taken to a psychiatric ward at some point in her life, which eventually was one of the key moments that lef up to the #FreeBritney movement. That movement was essential for allowing Britney to become free from her situation and freely express herself. Her conservatorship only recently ended(after a LONG battle) and it was all thanks to the understanding and support of her fans and fellow singers in the music industry.
