In the recent years, I have seen things being built more so for middle to upper class. New complexes, with rent that is $1,200 and above, shopping centers, and the overall gentrification of downtown Newark. I may not be that deep into politics, but I feel that the working class of Newark is slowing being disregarded more and more as the years go by. In order to that, I would clear up all the abandoned buildings to ensure that unwanted activities are not done near or surrounding educational centers. Removing abandoned building will also potentially lesson criminal activity and it would not be so easy for youths to join those groups because they do not linger in their environment.

Some people are getting treated unfairly based on their skin color and I think it really unfair. Police Brutality will have to stop because most people of color are getting beaten and killed even if they did nothing wrong. We need to unity and make the world a better place.

I would start off by getting all of the homeless off the street and into some kind of housing. That housing could also help them get their lives back on track. Another thing I would do is make housing affordable for everyone because rent in Newark is really expensive even in bad neighborhoods. Lastly I would open up a youth center in order to let kids have a "place away from home"  that can help mentally , socially etc.

I would fix up burn down homes that haven't been touch in ages. I would also take down the health health issues that are built into our homes like lead walls. I wanna fix our education system as well, since the majority of the lessons that we get taught are things that aren't as useful to most of us later on; not every student wants to do the same thing for their career path. They are going to be an adult soon too, why not teach them on how to rent/buy a home? how to pay taxes? How to look for jobs?
