Another difference is that pivot joint can move left and right but not up and down unlike a hinge joint.

Starting from the middle of the joint is the two bons that meet that are covered by cartilage on both bones. Past the cartiliage is the synovial membrane between the cartilage and the fluid which is in the joint space. Supporting the joint is the ligamentous support which essentially upholds the joint. Lastly, is the synovial capsule which further proteccts the joint surrounding the entirety of it.

Through these notes I learned about major aspects of the knee from the major muscles and tendons, candyle's, and the purpose of each landmark. I liked that I was able to apply the anatomy of the knee to other aspects of the class: the labs, other worksheets, and diagnoising possible issues in the knee. Although I did my best, I could have applied this knowledge in my other classes like Honors Anatomy and Strength and Conditiong to strengthen my knowledge. I hope to learn more about the interactions of the knee with the rest of the body and how that applies to medical issues that can progress over time.

I learned about the interactions of the muscles, specifc landmarks of the ankles, how to identify where the specfic bones of the ankle are, and each function of the bones in the ankle. I had learned about how to properly diagnosis issues with the knee, how to identify such issues in specific muscles, and executed them. I could have done better at attempting the knee lab multiple times and practiced it a little more to ensure that I was fully absorbing the information, gaining more practice and furthering my knowledge even more. Lastly, I want to learn more about what leads up to these injuries, how the injuries are treated, and how patients react to such issues.
