the cost for 2 adults is = 2a=2×34.74=69.48 and the total environmental fee is = 2e=2×20.50=41.00. the total cost for the adults by adding ferry and environmental fees, is 2a+2e=69.48+41.00=110.48.

With two children, the ferry cost is 2b=2×21.50=43.00 and the total environmental fee is 2f=2×10.00=20.00. combining it, the cost for the children is 2b+2f=43.00+20.00 =63.00. Combining the total costs for adults and children, we get (2a+2e)+(2b+2f)=110.48+ 63.00= 173.48. , the total cost for both adults and children is $173.48.

(bradley)I went to Perth, Australia on June 28 for 7 days. After searching for what airline to fly we settled with Singapore Airlines because we had a 25% discount for kids. From Jakarta to Singapore is $293.19 Singapore to Perth is $592.12 per person (discount not yet applied) in my family there are 2 adults and 2 children we bought a seat reservation fee it costs $40 for adults and $20 for children

first, we find the cost for adults which is 2(x+y) then we expand it so it is 2x+2y then we solve it so 2x+2y=$586.38 + $1,184.24 = $1,770.62 is the total cost for adults

next, we do the children x*75% is $219.89 then y * 75% = $444.09

a is discounted Jakarta to Singapore which is $219.89

b is discounted Singapore to Perth which is $444.09

2(a+b) then we expand it so it is 2a+2b then we solve it so 2a+2b=$439.78+$888.18=$1,327.96 is the total cost for children

Finally, we add the seat reservation fees.

q is the adult seat fee which is $40

r is the children's seat fee which is $20

for two adults it is 2q which is $80 and each child’s seat fee is $20 for 2 children it is 2r=$40. Together, the seat reservation fees add to $80+$40=$120. Adding this to the flight costs, the total becomes $3,218.58.

I went to Italy for 10 days, me and my family began our journey on 26th September 2024, leaving for Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 5p.m. Despite heavy traffic, we arrived safely at 8p.m. We boarded a Saudi Airlines flight at 1a.m., flying 9hours to Jeddah. After a 3hour layover, we continued with a 5hour flight to Milan, the first flight was 9hours and 7,974km and the second flight was 5hours and 3,786km.

x = first flight time in hours: 9

y = second flight time in hours: 5

a = first flight distance in km: 7,974

b= second flight distance in km: 3,786

Equation

x + y =14hours

a + b =11,760km

Solution

9 + 5 =14hours

7,974 + 3,786 =11,760km

The total hours to Jakarta to Milan is 14h

And the total distance to Jakarta to Milan is 11,760km

I went to Doumo with my parents and bought some souvenirs, purchasing 3 fridge magnets priced 10€ each and a plate decoration costing 5€.

x = the cost each fridge

y = the cost of plate decoration

Equation = 3x + y

Solution = 3(10) + 5 =35

So, the total cost souvenirs is €35

My family consists of 2 adults (mom and dad )and 2 children (my little brother and I). We chose Batik Air as our airplane. With the above table, we can create the equation to calculate the flight cost for this trip. X= total cost, A= adult fare, C= child fare.Formula: X= 2A+2C+ 150,000

X=(2 x 1,800,000)+(2x1,500,000)+150,000

X= 6,750,000

Therefore, the total cost for the flight was Rp 6,750,000.

(Sam)Once we had settled with the car, My dad drove the car to our hotel for check-in. We stayed at a beachfront hotel in Nusa Dua. Since my dad has joined the membership of the hotel group, we were entitled to a room upgrade that can accommodate 4 people in a room and afternoon tea for free. Room cost per night was RP 1,500,000 including breakfast. Total night(y)=4. Thus, the total room cost would be:

Me and my family ate sea food and the best items were lobster and Geoduck. I had spent 21 hundred dollars. Lobster costed x dollars and Geo duck costed 1/3 of what the lobster costed. What is x? ( Tip x is both the lobsters not the individual price)

Solution: 21 hundred dollars/ 2100$ divided by 7 wich is 300$. 300 x 3 = 900

900 x 2 = 1800$

During the term break my family and I went to Singapore for vacation using Singapore Airlines. we were there for 5 days.

The price of one ticket we spent for this vacation costed

Rp 3,878,900 and we bought four tickets.

The equation is y = 4x

Where,

y= Total cost

x= Cost per person

x = Rp. 3,878,900

y = 4 x Rp. 3,878,900

y = Rp. 15,515,600

The total cost for 4 people was Rp. 15,515,600

The hotel we stayed in was Hilton hotel Serangoon. The price per night was Rp 2,900,000 . My family and I stayed there for 5 nights and we booked 2 rooms.

t= n x r x c

t = 5 x 2 x Rp. 2,900,000

My father already booked our ticket before we leave to Singapore using the app Klook. For all 8 of us the price of the total tickets Rp 7,330,098

So first i went to Singapore using Garuda Indonesia Wich the average price of it ( at holidays) is around 4.5jt/$380 ( in Singaporean dollars ) If I used lion air ( Wich is far much cheaper ) I would've only spent Rp 2,691,966 Wich is almost half the cost. How much would I have saved if I have flew on lion air?

4.5jt - 2,691,966 = 1,808,034 rp Wich means that I would've saved 1,808,304 rp ( idr ) if I have used lion air.
