The reason why I design in this way is I was inspired by pollutions affecting every organs in human's body. The red part represents a good situation of lung  due to a healthy, favorable environment. The colorful part, on the opposite, is the result after the lung being affected by the polluted environment. Even though they are just some basic materials, but the artwork they created is incredible. 

When I was creating this piece, I first cut out all the printed photos in the shape I wanted, and then I started the idea on A2 blank paper, trying to make it into a meaningful abstract collage. In the upper left corner of the whole work is a river polluted by all kinds of garbage. The colorful colors give a strong sense of visual impact and arouse people's desire to protect the environment. On its right is a human figure made of a skull and a lung. Inside the skull is a picture of many modern industries emitting gases, which affect the health of the body. So half of the lungs attached to the skull are polluted.
In the lower right corner of the whole painting are two people and a polluted scene. Unmoved by the spectacle of heavy pollution, they just prayed and stared. It is not difficult to notice that there is a picture of human brain in the lower left corner of the work. In the middle of the picture, there is a scene similar to that in heaven. Two rows of people on both sides of the sculpture are doing thinking actions. What I want to express here is that human beings have been living in their own imagination, and do nothing about the real problems in reality. After the collage of all the pictures, I painted a special background with black pigment and special painting techniques. Black gives people a very serious feeling, just like environmental pollution is also a very serious and serious problem for all living things on the earth. Finally, I used real flowers to decorate the work, but all the flowers were withered. All the flowers are beautiful initially, but after the fleet of time and the destruction of human beings, they become dead in the end. 

 I think there's a lot of room for improvement in the details of the painting and the content of the expression can also be richer:)

Reflection：I really  enjoy the process of mixing color because I can pick any colors I like and use them to make a piece of art. I was also pleasantly surprised when they created an extraordinary piece of art on canvas. In my personal perspective, I can improve the amount of paints next time in order to make pigments flow fluently.

Dalí related that the painting was an interpretation of several dreams he had about Hitler – one had shown Neville Chamberlain's umbrella turning into a bat – a symbol from his childhood that filled him with fear.The cut telephone cord depicted in the painting has been interpreted as the communication disconnect between Chamberlain and Hitler.
