Beside from that i got reminded of that Outdoor is out door. The only thing that is needed is a scenerie shift. It means that children can have that no matter where their institution is placed. It is the kindergarten teacher, teacher, you name it that is responsible for their outdoor Educational development. So i have learned that taking responsibility may be difficult and includes that you have to take actiom. Cause if nobody does, nobody will. So this week i felt a litle bite like a child embracing experiences in unpredictable ways. 
Learning together through and with researchers, teachers and students facilitates the aquisition of new skills, just because i let myself go with the flow embrasing this new context. Even do i was a litle afraid.
In encounters with others during the workfield of the week i try to put myself out there with the people and the materials, geting out of my comfort zone. 
Movement, places, identifing some starting points that can catch childreens attention can be an alternative approach to the lines of thinking that goes directly from A to B transforming educational narratives settings, modeling a none right line of thought.  
Thus in this perspective i feel that i did not recived a prescriptive list of recomendations for pedagogy but shared bodily experience making space inside me to become more than an A to B thinker in order to became a rythm movement that thinks creatively, hoping to shifting micro relations thoughts in everyday encounters between childreen, enviroment and adults.

What i found most inspiring was going to kindergarten, as i saw many possibilities to play outdoors, and how children feel free to explore diffrent types of materials and spaces. I also felt inspired, when riding a bike, because in our coutry we don't have this habit very much and it's something that is good for the environmente and health. From the conversations i had with colleagues and teachers, i learned a lot of sharing of experiences and working methods. I get out of my comfort zone in communication, because one of my fears was not being able to express myself well in another language, but with the help of my colleagues i have managed to improve. During this week i've noticed how the kids play outside and there's no need to have big things. They have confidance in the street to play freely because there is safety. In my country it's a little different, because i feel that children play in the park but they cant't leave the area much because parents are afraid or there are cars always passing by, and that makes childrens not have confidance and don't deal withe the risk.

I tried to soak up as much new information as possible.
First and foremost my personal definition of, what the "outdoors" is changed a lot. I used to associate the term with only nature, like the woods, the beach, a lake or a river. Working with outdoor education in a city like Mechelen, my definition of the term has expanded, to also include outdoor areas in the city.
Especially our bike tour, visiting different outdoor spots in the city, has inspired me. The school we visited had some great examples of how to create small outdoor play-spaces, that have learning potential for the children.

I enjoyed the workshops, because it was not top-down learning, but we were actually involved in the development of the applications/products, the teachers are working on. Furthermore, the questions posed in the workshops provided a good framework for our group reflections.

To me, the most important part of this week was meeting fellow students from around Europe and exchanging ideas with them. It was interesting to hear different perspectives and to challenge my own views and beliefs.
In the beginning it was a bit hard for me to grasp, what the aim of the group assignment was. I would have liked a more concrete task, to encourage us even more, to share what "outdoor education" is about in our individual countries. For me personally, there was too much of an emphasis on "reflection". Inatead, I would have liked to get to know more new ideas, that I can immediately try out in my pedagogical work.

Instead, I believe, that I got some food for thought, that will take some time to digest. I loved to explore the child friendly amenagement the city made (the playgrounds, the school, the urban structure that have different utilities, etc.). 

It was sometimes hard to tranpose it to primary education as it was really focusing on preschool and the curriculum are so different. However, I am leaving with ideas for scientifical, geographical and mathematical lessons, in addition of a lot to think about and develop in order to add into my practice. 
One of the thing I would like to have experienced is living a real outdoor activity (or even many !) with the children and a teacher used to it so that I could conceptualise it in a more pratical way and that I could transpose directly into my internship. 

The best part of the week was being able to exchange with other students and teachers from other coubtries that have different experiences and background. It allowed me to  teachers expanded my way of apprehending teaching. Being able to share and talk about all of those different point of view was really enriching for me as a teacher, but also for me on a personal level. All of the countries have a different method to use outdoor education, which I really liked. The bike-trip really got me to see outdoor education from another point of view. For example the way that they used the spaces to create a lot of different playgrounds, where they are able to experience, have fun and play. I was surprised that they had so much animals in public places where the children can get in contact with nature to learn about/with them. The playground by the farm was very child-friendly at this place had different opportunities for the different ages of the children. Because I have never seen it in Denmark, it was nice that it was public without payment.
This project has opened my eyes to see that wherever you walk out of the door, you are in a place that represents outdoor education. So it’s not only nature but also the rural, woodland, beach, parks and a lot of other places. During this week, it was nice to participate the city-game where we had to take group pictures at the detailed spots.

I saw a lot of the city that I hadn't seen before. The workshops were very good and cool to have all the teachers once. I learned a lot about how things are different in different countries. I am also jealous of how much possiblity's there are to play outside in other countries. We can't make fires and when it rains, the people here are like: no we should stay inside it's raining. It was very nice to get to know everyone, everyone was friendly, helpful. The dinners and such were also very pleasant! What I found more inspiring was the diversity of opinions and ideas of the other students and professors because it made the conversations and the dialogs richer. I looked at some situations from another point of view and that made me rethink about my practice.
Through dialog with other partners I learned about their country and their way of living and also the way they teach and see the outdoor as a necessary thing for children. I loved to listen to people with experience in outdoor activities and “risky” activities and their explanation on how they can do it to make them safe.
For me, what was really out of my comfort zone was going on a bike through the city because I couldn’t control it and I’ve got a little sored trying to get to the scouts. I felt really sorry by not ridding the bike throughout the city with the others because it seemed like a great experience to know mor about the city and to bond with everyone.
I think that I felt like I could have had more confidence when I talked because I felt like I could have contributed more but maybe it happened because of the language barrier. That also made me think that, because it was out of my comfort zone, I couldn’t do what I wanted and as a teacher I can’t let that happen. I can’t just don’t do things I find important for children because I’m not comfortable, so I need to get that confidence and this project is very enriching in that aspect.
I think the micro-researcher method fits better in my context because, from what I have seen, it’s very similar to what we learn in didatics in our school, but what’s new and an improvement for the method is the connection with the nature and the outdoor activities because children learn faster and better if it’s relatable to them.
The item that I chose to describe my experience in this week is a flower because just as it needs sun, water and earth to grow, I need to get in touch with other experiences and testimonies, drink this information and adapt it to my context. What I remember about this international week is first of all all all the people I met through this experience that brought us together and with whom I could exchange, discover, compare...for even more inspiration. 
What I liked the most was the visit of the recreation area of the kindergarten that I really found rich in ideas to transfer as much as possible elsewhere to allow children to play freely in natural spaces where each element embodies sometimes a role, sometimes another one according to their overflowing imagination.
I also greatly appreciated the visit of Mechelen by bike and more specifically the spaces and developments that the city has thought and realized. I hope that the latter will contaminate many other cities.
What I would have liked is to really experience one or more outdoor activities with the children in order to make it even more concrete in my mind and to be able to transfer it more easily to primary school classes. 
However, I find the creation of the application that was presented to us very interesting, because it will allow us to draw, exchange and share different "outdoor" activities thought, developed and tested by other teachers from here and elsewhere. This will undoubtedly contribute a lot to make some of the more reluctant teachers want to take the plunge and get out of their comfort zone.

In 2021, I also had an international week about outdoor education that was supposed to take place in norway, but due to corona, it was not possible. This week I have learned a lot, especially the vision / perspective of other countries. That outdoor education should not only be in natural areas but that it should be also posible at the water, woodland, urban, rural,... we saw how to apply outdoor education in a city like mechelen. 
 
How I look at myself now after this week? is that all the practical that were given to us I am going to put to good use. My goal as a teacher is to have a bigger view, to get to know different cultures and to use this my class to integrate outdoor education.

Before I started this week, my fan of knowledge about "outdoor education" was already a little bit open. Because we learn about it during our education.
But i was still thinking we need a Forest of nature to have outdoor education. But no, it's also possible in a rural or city environment. Just take a look at what you see, there are learning possibilities all around you!
Then hearing the activities of Denmark and Lithuania and what the children van do there, really opened my eyes.
Here in Belgium we always take away the danger for the children. We act before they can even try something: we don't go outside when it's raining because they can get wet, we don't climb in trees because we can fall down and for sure we don't start a fire because it's way too dangerous!
But how can the children learn the danger if we don't let them experience themselves?
My biggest eye-opener was the school "villa zonnebloem"! Yes, this is the kind of school i'm dreaming of, this is how it has to be everywhere! Yes, it's possible, it can be done!
For me, my "fan" is opened a lot more and I want to use everything I've heard and seen as much as I can.
As a teacher, I want to share this vision and impliment it myself. Let the children explore the danger instead of taking them away before they can act.
Make all the schools like Villa Zonnebloem and let the children be the little creative beings they are and don't decide for them all the time.
For me as a person, those are really big values: how can they learn if they can not experience it?
