There aren't enough foster families and people adopting, and some adoption agencies won't give children to same-sex couples. While people are fighting over that, it's the children who are getting injured, whether physically or emotionally. And along with that, sometimes children from other countries actually had a happy family and were taken away to be adopted. The adoption system is flawed, and I'd want to know why these happened and perhaps what could be done to rectify the problem.
