Leadership education has played a central role throughout my school years—from elementary school, through middle school, and into high school. One example is my participation in “Shalach” (an acronym in Hebrew for Field and Homeland Studies), where I served as a young Shalach leader. In this role, I led groups, worked as part of a team, learned about responsibility, initiative, decision-making—and most importantly, I experienced firsthand what it means to lead.
