Building on our CHA with the SOAP to incorporate more assessment and data going into SHIP 6

Being new to SHIP, there is some uncertainty about what all will change going into SHIP 6 since I finally feel like I'm getting my footing and familiarity with being a SHIP Coordinator

Unkown of what certain items to keep in mind since I haven't been through this process before.

Ensure that OSHII is up to date with newest frameworks and blueprints from the state and can respond to strategic directions

Most of what ends up being sorted out or changing could be more of the LPH logistical details. Who is doing what context, FTE, how much will be available for partner awards, ... The transition of a SHIP cycle is a good opportunity to let these details breathe and maybe be refreshed to better meet needs

Hard to plan out projects in advance beyond October/November - which is what I would prefer to be doing with partners since there is no carry forward come the transition (don't want to start something that can't finish by fall)

survey local awardees on their budgets. e.g. plans to spend all, need support with project ideas if plans have changed, or will give funding back to award to other etc.

Smaller award amounts for local partners

funding staying the same, and staff cost getting higher equals less money to award out. Having to shift to low award amounts for partners to more system and policies etc support.
