entitled 10 Things Worth Doing on Earth. This challenge is not as
easy as it first appears as Prez has to spend most of his time

However, there is one very key difference – there are no bees. No fruit can be grown, no vegetable harvested, and the world is a bleak place. As they are small and nimble, Children are made to work as makeshift bees in order to pollinate the apple trees. However, tragedy strikes as Peony is kidnapped by a familiar face.  Personally, I really enjoyed this book and found it fascinating, if slightly terrifying, to consider a world with no pollinators. Finally, A slight word of warning – there are some darker themes in this book and therefore would suggest it is more suitable for Year 6 children.

The books is laid out just like you are in any natural history  museum, with each chapter focusing on a different type of animal  before presenting your with some beautifully illustrated pictures and  a shed load of both technical and non-technical information.  Once  again, Mr Denton has a copy should you wish to read it!

However, three days later, tragedy strikes. The book the follows the Baby’s (now known as Clarry) life as she spends many happy summers in Cornwall, fights for the
 right to go to school and deals with the grumpiest of dads. However, her world  once again comes crashing down as World war one is declared and one of  Clarry’s best friends agrees to serve. Pop in to see Mr D to borrow this book!

Roz, the friendly, if slightly terrifying robot, has absolutely no idea what her purpose is in life. The only thing she is sure of is that she needs to survive. However, as she is a fairly clumsy robot, all the other animals on the island are truly terrified of her. Roz’s fortunes quickly change when she finds and takes excellent care of a duckling. Now the biggest question of all is, will the  other animals learn to finally trust her, or will they remain scared?  Luckily for you if you enjoy this book, the next instalment is already out!
