In 2003, he joined New Jersey’s East Orange General Hospital as an information technology (IT) director. Serving as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and operating groups, he developed new technology initiatives and oversaw a $3 million operating budget. After 12 years in this position, Jean Zahore became Chief Information Officer. Over the next year, he guided the hospital’s strategic vision and assisted in the company-wide implementation of electronic health records. Mr. Zahore subsequently worked as an IT project management consultant with the city of Orange, where he designed and conducted a large-scale infrastructure upgrade that encompassed both technical and physical security. He also spent several years as an IT privacy lead consultant with Church & Dwight, Co. in Ewing, New Jersey.
