For Palestinians, human movement can be tough for daily commute because checkpoints are overcrowded and heavily secured with armed Israeli soldiers making it take longer till you're actually let through. Palestinians are also harassed, humiliated, and sometimes even killed. For both, Palestinians and Israelis there's a conflict involving the checkpoints and idea movement or in this case, the lack of idea movement. The separation makes it difficult for Palestinians and Israelis to interact and bond. As shown in the documentary, eventually the twins couldn't go and see Farja; vice versa. For instance, the wailing wall, which is sacred to Jews is a controversial topic on whether Jerusalem belongs to the Israelis or the Palestinians. This connects to human characteristics of place because it's their customs and beliefs. Another example of this is the water conflict involving the capture of the West Bank and Gaza, which denies Palestinians having access to water. The idea is that Israelis and Palestinians want to run their countries differently; Israelis want a Jewish state, and Palestinians want a Palestinian one.
