Music was being introduce as a regular subject in the primary schools. That time they have a goal and objectives for music education and to let people know it have benefical for the people out there. At the secondary level, music education was not a compulsory but is was an elective at two of the national-level examination, which take all malaysian take in the ninth and eleventh years of schooling.
