The jazz band's melody drifted through the hidden doorway as the lady enetered the speakeasy. Suddenly, all heads turned and all eyes were fixed on her. She wore clothes made of the finest materials of the era, topped with beads, sparkles, and a perfume so overpowering that it cut through the smoke like a blade. Her perfume caught the attention of a man sitting at the counter as she walked past him. The man invited her to sit down next to him, generously put her drink on his tab, and even invited her for a smoke. They decided to head outside as to take a break from all the noise. The air was cold, and the man noticed she was shivering, so he kindly offered his coat to her.

A tall woman was asking for a wine, and a man served her. When I heard the pianist playing his piano, I thought about a lonely night. I didn't now why I stayed here, but I liked it. When someone other came in, I decided to ask for a couple of wine. When I asked for it, it came quickly. I stayed there for two hours long. I had nothing to do at that night. Then I got up, and ask the pianist for my favorite jazz song. As he played, it was wonderful.

...a circulating wave, like a light breeze intsantly hitting my eardrums. It was soothing in a way, places such as this one always helped me to clear my mind. I stepped closer to the center of the dance floor. Everyone was having fun, either swaying their hips for the rhythm of the music or having a conversation while sipping a drink. The place had a bright aura, and I carefully took a sip of my own drink too, relishing it the warm feeling as it went through my throat, contrasting with the cold surface of my glass. The taste of it was sweet, just like this moment, and a treasured the moment as I finally felt myself at peace.

The jazz band's melody drifted through the hidden doorway as I walked down the dusty street. I stopped. It was different, somehow magical. I couldn't resist peeking inside. There, I saw a whole different world: people laughing, talking and... and drinking. The air was filled with the smell of alcohol and smoke, and I instantly felt the heat coming from inside. I stepped in. Some people looked up, some signaled me to sit with them. I went to the bar and asked for a drink. I tried it. It was sweet yet somehow different from everything I have ever tried before. This little place, hidden in the dusty street was a whole other world. It felt like life and I felt like living again.

The people inside were chattering, enjoying the soft atmosphere in the room. Suddenly a mysterious woman entered the bar. Everyone looked in the door's way. They haven't seen this woman before. She elegantly closed the door and took a seat at the nearest table. She ordered a drink and glanzed through the -still surprised- crowd. She wasn't there for long; when she finished her drink she left as she came. The people continued to talk, as nothing ever happened. Nobody ever got to know who that woman was...

The neon motel sign flickered in the distance as you were getting closer and closer to it. I was travelling for 5 hours straight in the desert. It was late at night like 11 PM as I was about to run out of fuel I saw it, the motel. I have heard rumors about it before, people say that something is wierd about the motel, it is said that this motel is cursed. I parked at the motel and went inside. After I have went inside, it gave me gusebumps. The first wierd thing that I saw that no one was at the register desk. I was puzzeled as how in the world I would be able to book a room for this night. I saw a bell on the desk and I rang it a few times before an old lady came to the desk. I asked her if its okay to book a room because i was tired. She gave me a room key and said it was on the 3rd floor. The only wierd thing that she said that I can't go to the 2nd floor because it was under construction. I went to my room and I went to sleep. In the middel of the night a heard a wierd sound coming from the 2nd floor. I went to investigate it, as i got closer the noice was unbareable. It sounded like an animal was crying. I oppened the door where the sound came from and... I saw it

The horrors of the Austin Motel

The neon motel sign flickered in the distance as Samantha approached it. She had noticed that something was wrong with her car so she pulled over into the parking lot of the motel. As she was about to turn off the engine, smoke emerged from under the hood. She quickly grabbed her bag from the backseat and entered the motel. Above the door there was a sign that read "Austin Motel". She speculated that the owner could help her fix her car so she could continue her journey. But George Austin said he could only help her the following morning, so she decided to stay the night. Austin booked the room for Samantha James. She took her bag and went to her room not thinking much of the interaction. Upon entering the room, she felt an eerie presence, as if she weren't alone, but she couldn't pinpoint it, so she just changed and went to sleep. Upon noticing that the woman fell asleep, George entered the room. He was quick and quiet enough when entering, but the closet door squeaked as he closed it upon himself. The noise woke Samantha up, grabbed her car keys, positioned them betweem her knuckles, and started investigating her room. As she approached the closet, George jumped out with a knife in his hand. He forgot to close the door, so Samantha could escape easily. She grabbed George's car keys from the front desk, ran outside, entered his car, and fled with the car of her own almost-murderer and continued her journey.

The sound of wolves howling in the distance made me feel uneasy. When i came here a few weeks ago to get some inspiration for my book, it felt like a good idea, but now I'm not so sure anymore. On the first few days, everything seemed to be normal. There were some noises, but I didn't think much of it: "Probably just the wild wolves"; but the noises were nothing like howling, they were more human-like. It started as mere whispers, but now they are screaming for help. I didn't think this trip would change my life, but I think I'm never gonna return the same...
