Working with a staff of experienced professionals, Dr. Joseph Galdun oversees the admission and discharge of patients and performs rounds. He also has administrative duties and serves on the Infection Prevention/Employee Health, Credentials, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees. Having earned a doctor of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency there, Dr. Galdun held responsibilities as chief medicine resident for a year. He guided a daily case-based didactic conference, the morning report, and provided third-year medical students with instruction. He was also active with a number of committees, including the Code Blue and Resident Evaluation committees. From 2001 to 2017, Dr. Galdun was a cardiology night hospitalist with the St. Vincent Medical Group where he oversaw the admission of diverse patients, including those with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarctions and those requiring treatment in the hospital's intensive care unit.
