Overall design and formatting

Formatting could be more consistent. The individual elements (i.e. text, images, and quizzes) are fine. However, the formatting of these onto the webpage creates a burdensome design to the user.

There is no problem with the default font, but I would prefer a font style with less spacing between words. Spacing makes the overall text space larger and thus more chunky.

Background Colour

The background colour is gray and it would be better if it is changed to white to increase the contrast which can make it easier to read.

Thoughtful picture composition

In the original design, the pictures are laid out very clunkily with no relevance to the text. It is better to arrange them to the side of the specific paragraphs they refer to.

There are too many words clustered together. To increase the readability of this, the words can be separated into different shorter statements and spaced more equally to reduce confusion when reading. The pictures and words can be interspersed with one another to allow better proportionality in terms of wordings and images. This would also reduce the level of fatigue readers may feel. Additionally, the pictures and background could be of more contrasting colors to reduce distraction. This will allow the focus of readers to be on the main point that was to be conveyed. Instead of highlighting the main point in yellow, the font size, type and formatting (Bold, Underline) could be modified to allow it to stand out.

A more thoughtful use of highlighting would be better. On the current webpage there is just one large chunk of highlighted information. Instead, highlight key terms and definitions to make clear what bits of text are most important.

Structure of the text

The text could be grouped into separate paragraphs with titles and it could be arranged going down the page instead of in two columns. This would mean that information can be found more easily and would be easier to read. Images could be placed next to the part of the text it corresponds to.
