The mains claims are backed by rough underwater footage of his panicked dive.

The film starts with the characters getting into the water and straight away get the sense that something is watching them from below. They continue to travel down to the bottom of the lake. 

As they get to the bottom red eyes appear around the locations the characters are in but they keep missing seeing the creature. They look around the plane and see the other features in the lake such as a sunken car. The climax of the story reaches when Michael gets caught and killed by the creature as he is looking at different sections of the lake. 

This makes Harriet confused and concerned as to where Michael has gone she then sees the creature as well but reaches the top of the water before the creature gets her. In terms of background music, I cut out the most dramatic part of the song as I felt it did not suit our film nor do it justice but rather gave a feeling of a 1940's classic film. Hence the loop on the background sound.

Originally the shots made the water a bit too blue and gave the feeling of euphoric and soft lighting. The green hue allowed for a deeper and more sinister atmosphere.

The downside to this was of course losing the brightness of the red eyes, for this - I chose to enhance the red hue to allow the eyes to appear sharp, especially in shots which were darker and harder to see through.

After colouring grading each individual clip, I added an adjustment layer to make sure all clips had a low exposure/faded look to allow for continuity in the edit. One problem I found when editing, was that due to the different depths of water the shots were filmed at, some shots lacked continuity as it was evident which shots were at higher depths and which were at lower, this adjustment layer allowed me to fix that and keep the continuity clear throughout.
