Technical: The shifts in the tone of the piece is very imminent. It was interesting how the national anthem shone through in the piece.
Emotional: Very emotionally heavy, you can hear which parts of the music signifies the horrors of war. Creates a sense of fear and chaos. The emotions very clearly show through. Technical- I thought the sounds of the upper woodwinds playing the faster notes while other instruments played some longer notes was very interesting and cool. The shifts between different sections in the music are very clean and sound really cool.

Technical - lots of sudden, somewhat weird, cues and shifts in overall tone (like from the lyrical part to silence, and then into sudden attack). lots of brassy sounds, but very whole tone. woodwinds are mostly featured for the lyrical sections with horn or trumpet counter-melodies or backings. when it's supposed to be harsh, it is clear that they are not holding back in the slightest.
