The White Man's Burden

1) A burden means to carry something heavy around whether its verbal, mental, or physical, an example would be work that you don't necessarily want to do.
2)How does Kipling view those being Imperialized? I think Kipling supports Imperialization because he wants people to take up his jobs so he doesn't have to do them himself.
3) How would you characterize Kiplings views of imperialism? I would characterize Kiplings views of imperialism as sort of selfish and arrogant because he is not thinking about those being imperialized and only thinking about what he no longer has to do.
4)According to Kipling, what was "The White Man's Burden?" I think the "white man's burden" is what he believes a typical white man has to go through even though it is so much easier than being someone who was imperialized or someone of another ethnicity in the US at the time.
