This species of reptile is called snake and it eats birds, frogs, lizards, insects, other snakes, squirrels, and rats. They rely on external sources (like the sun) to give them energy. They will move between basking in the sun and hiding in the shade to keep their bodies at their preferred temperature. Actually, a whole bunch of different animal species kill snakes, including a ton of birds - owls, hawks, falcons, herons, etc. And many, many snake species eat only other snakes. So mostly, birds and other snakes are the most common predators of snakes. This animal is a Tertiary Consumer and here's some facts: Snakes have poor eyesight, Snakes are deaf, Snakes smell with their tongues, Not all snakes lay eggs.

Decomposers- Springtail

This is a springtail and it is a Decomposer. Springtails eat decaying organic materials, especially decomposing plants, as well as fungal foods such as molds and mildews. Springtails require moisture to live and get their energy from water. For a springtail that loves humidity, you'd be surprised to find out that they are hydrophobic due to a complex surface structure of their body. Amazingly, they are so light and resistant to water that they can jump, land upside down on the water's surface. They are called springtails because they have the ability to jump very high. They are still alive after 400 million years.
