About a week after ww2 finished the japenees bomed austraila. For both kids and adults. After ww2 Author Cordwell was 100% certain that Austraila needed immagraion so thats wat he did. Meenwhile back in austraila there was verry little recorces becausqe everyone was staying inside after the bomming from the japenees.   • Author cordwell new that Austrailia needed imigrants to protect the  Austrailian republic from the japenese after they attaced Austraila after world war 2 Auther cordwell wanted imigrants but he only wanted wite imigrants not black or unhealthy ones. Author cordwell was the first ministar for the white Austraila policy in 1945. Also Author cordwell would only take to Austraila the people back to Austraila that were 70 percent white or 70 percent british
