I know that it would be really hard to trust God during that time. It seemed like things kept getting worse and worse. Jack Martin went through a lot but in the end, even in the middle of the war, his heart was filled with gratitude towards God. He was just thankful that he wasn't in the Nazis' concentration camps. God helped him through the impossible. I would even say that they were miracles.
