Hadrian came to Britain in 122 A.D. According to a biography written 200 years after "put many things to right and was the first to build a wall 80 miles long from sea to sea to separate the barbarians from the Romans." It took about 6 years to complete. The original plan was for it to be made out of stone or turf. http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/hadrians-wall/history/

The fountain is designed to look like a monumental triumphal arch. It was built against a wall of the Palazzo Poli. It is 20 meters wide and 26 meters high. The fountain itself is Neptune, the god of the sea, in a shell-shaped chariot that is pulled by two sea-horses. It was built in 19 B.C by Agrippa. http://www.aviewoncities.com/rome/trevi.htm

In the play Curculio, it tells us lots about the Roman Forum. The play-writer Plautus gives us the notice that somebody could find just about every sort of person in the forum. There was criminals, hustlers, prostitutes, and politicians. Sitting beside the Tiber river is the site of Rome that is noted. Separated by deep cut valleys. The hilltops became the site of many settlements begging in the Early Iron Age. https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/ancient-art-civilizations/roman/beginners-guide-rome/a/forum-romanum-the-roman-forum
