I lay down on a chair beside a wounded child. The smell of blood drifted into my nose, and my ears rang with the sounds of a roomful of roaring voices. I spotted a few lifeless bodies and some sobbing faces, and wondered if peace would ever again rule over the world. I watched the clock. 2h13. 2h14. Suddenly, I felt pain flow through my body. This was what it felt like to be tormented. A bomb had been dropped on the Mariupol Theatre. I ran out, wounded and scared, but alive. A body stepped out of the darkness. Fingers trembling, I stared in shock. Mum was back. Two arms wrapped around me. This is what it felt like to be happy. To have hope.

not some war tanks

everybody should

have peace, peace is

great stay peace

Comment ne pas pleurer en voyant ces réfugiers.

Pourquoi ne rien faire devant ce monde de misère.

 

Des Hommes partent en laissant leur famille

Des innocents meurent, sous les balles des soldats

Les parents essayent vainement de protéger leurs enfants.

 

Pourquoi de pas leur donner le plus beau cadeau de l’année

Redonner de la joie à tous ses gens

Et rassurer les petits enfants.

 

Alors pour une fois qu’on sait se qu’il faut.

Qu’on peut réaliser le cadeau le plus précieux.

Ramenons la joie, ramenons enfin la paix.

 

La Paix en Ukraine.

We like peace,

We want peace,

We don’t want war.

If we really want it we’ll have to earn it back

pain and sorrow

will not bring it tomorrow

if we want it today

all the fighting will have to go away

with all the blood being bled

it is only sadness being shed

if only they did not have to flee

they would have lived in happiness and glee

It’s name is Peace

the desolation begins.

and with every second, more fear,

and with every minute, more tears.

- Répondront-ils ?

- Comment apporter notre renfort, la solidarité ?

- Jusqu'oú ira la tyrannie ?

Pourquoi ?

Qu'a-t-on appris des guerres au long des siècles 

De la violence, du terrorisme ?

 

Oú est la cohérence

Quel est le sens

Par-dessus tout 

et d'autant plus

Dans notre "village mondial" ?

Stop.

Prendre un temps

pour se recueillir

Sonder son coeur et ses désirs

Laisser tomber la peur et le ressentiment 

Hauteur de vue

Et vue d'ensemble

Uniforme et soumise

Ou colorée 

Vive et enjouée

Tout en relief ?

Prêt-à-penser

Ou libre de s'exprimer

Pour avancer, interconnectés

Inter-illuminés

Unir belles actions aux bonnes idées ?

Yeux dans les yeux

Fraternité 

Apportons-nous la Paix 

Entente (cordiale ou plus), respect et tolérence

Apportons-nous la Paix 

Faire place à chacun.

Au service de la Vie, 

Tous différents

Mais

Tous humains.

La paix fait naître la sérénité.

Pour faire la paix il faut se respecter et communiquer.

Et c’est pour cette raison que nous devons tous être unis,grands et petits,de différents pays.

 

Dirigeants de chaque pays,oubliez votre pouvoir, oubliez vos ambitions et consacrez vous à faire  régner la paix. 

Parce que être en paix donne le bonheur à votre peuple.

 

                                                 Pourquoi ?

  

Parce que la paix c’est la liberté d’être soi-même et le pouvoir de dire la vérité et de se faire accepter.

Et enfin c'est la solidarité, l'instinct d’aider les autres en cas de danger.

 

                                     Et ça c’est la vraie vie!

 

Alors maintenant chers dirigeants de chaque pays, aidez moi et criez,

 

                                     Vive la paix! 

Blue and yellow, a calm, breezy day,

And I let my mind wander, to thoughts,

Thoughts of peace in our time.

 

I lay in the snow, so cold and still,

Asked myself about a day of peace,

As yet unsure of what peace was,

Or what it could be.

 

I shivered under the early night,

Watched the fireworks in the town,

And realised that I could feel peace,

Thought of peace in our time.

 

Because peace can be a feeling, 

Peace can be crying or laughing,

Or feeling nothing, or everything,

Feeling peace, in my time.

 

And peace is a trophy sought by many,

And often erased in the taking, but

In the young mind, peace is in the making,

Making peace, in our time.

I never want to see a gun

The blackening ash, falling from the sky,

As I turn, and say my goodbye

 

I tried to look in a secret cave,

There was a man who started to rave

I asked if peace was there,

But then he said to look elsewhere.

 

I gazed around all this green

Suddenly very keen,

Then I saw a rare white dove,

And my heart began to fill with love

 

I carried on forward 

Taking sips of my gourd,

I found a valley, it even had trees

I glanced, and even saw bees!

 

I have peace, my war is done

I never, ever want to see a gun

The blackening ash, falling from the sky,

As I turn, and say my final goodbye

                            It’s good natured in every aspect

            

              Its kindness and charity shine bright like the sun

                By the time the day is over the conflict is done

 

                  That's why we raise our hopes ever so high,

                     For the war in Ukraine to pass quickly by.

It’s a bubbling stream, smiling at the cloudless sky above it.

It’s the ocean, embracing glorious white sands.

It’s a bird, perched on a roof, observing the brief moment when Day surrenders and Night

takes over.

It’s the absence of bombs

It’s people not having to flee

It’s not being scared of a looming threat

It’s peace

Security, calm and quiet,

We ask for peace, please!
