3. Some of the best museums in the world are here in London and, surprisingly, they are ALL free! You pay only if you want to visit closed exhibitions within them.

4. Not all red buses are double-decker.

5. The tube may seem confusing, but at the end of the first day you will see that you will be already understanding the London tube from head to toe. Of all the subways I've used around, the one here is the best! If you make the right itinerary, you can do most things on foot and only take the subway at the beginning and end of the day - so the ideal is to always stay close to any subway station.
