Unfortunately, her dad was killed in the process, and that is why she survives by only trusting herself and her instincts.

Evan helping Cassie, not knowing if either of them could be aliens is a sense of humanity that was forgotten for awhile.

The green light showed they were aliens. After she explains to Zombie that they are probably making them think they are killing aliens, she tells Zombie to take out her tracker. When he does she lights up green, making it evident that the whole set up is a lie. They weren’t trained to kill aliens, they were to kill the humans.

Zombie tells Ringer to shoot him, and with the help from Dumbo, Ringer shoots him on the side of the stomach where he won’t die on his way back. Cassie knows this is her first step into getting in, so she attacks the doctor and she becomes unconscious. She takes out her tracker, and when Dr. Pam wakes up, she clicks the button thinking that the tracker is in Cassie, when Cassie actually put it in her. He leaves to find him, and that’s when Evan helps them get out.
