Louise sits down and looks out an open window.She begins repeating the word 'FREE' to herself over and over again.She feels happy because her husband isn't around anymore. Then the front door opens, and Brently comes in. He wasn't in the train accident or even aware that it had happened. Josephine screams, and Richards tries unsuccessfully to block Louise from seeing him.
