It allows for real-time at home (or on vacation) monitoring of potentially serious conditions. So that when any issues arise requiring the next level of care, symptoms and situations can be streamlined and communicated more effectively. This could lead to better patient outcomes. There are some major factors to address regarding cost and privacy concerns. Since we have been charged with evaluating the potential of implementing a new process, I wanted a diverse team. Also going with a deliberate person to help with decisions, but complimenting with a maximizer who will play into the groups strengths.
