Lizz and Emma are selling antiques for money, they end up looking for their grandma's earings, they go to Mr snow and interrogate him. He finds a envelope that contains the earings giving them to the two girls. They go to sell them, realizing that it's a family heirloom so they don't sell it.

Emma and Liz are doing a yard sale at their house for a new bike. Emma said that be on the lookout for earrings. It has been given to anna snow and kept for a long time. They go to Snows general store and asked mr snow if they are related to anna snow. He says yes. He says they he does not know her grandma. So they waited a few days. Mr snow comes back with a envolope and inside their are the earrings. A custuomer says he wants them but liz says they are not for sale and they keep it.

In the story "Treasure In The Attic two girls Lizzy and Emma find a forgotten heirloom from someone name Anna. Then, they head to a shop with a suspect named Mr. Snow who is suspected to be the grandson of Anna but turned out there were tons of different people with their last name. After that, Mr Snow had found an envelope for them and they had found more information but Lizzy really wanted a bike so she wanted to sell it but Emma convinced her that selling a family heirloom seemed wrong.

In the story there are two main characters named Emma and Liz. These characters are having a yard sale. The two girls are looking in their attic for things to sell. When they remember they are trying to find a pair of pearl earrings that their great grandmother had. Suddenly one of the girls found a diary that had a note in it stating that she gave the earrings away to her friend named Anna Snow. They decided to ask Mr. Snow if he is related to Anna Snow, he said that he is her grandson. Then they asked if he knew someone named Flossie ( Emma's and Liz's great grandmother ) but he barely remembers. Back at their house they are selling items when they notice Mr. Snow in the corner of their eye, he is holding an envelope. Emma and Liz ask him what the envelope is for and he comes back telling them it's a note from Anna to Flossie that he found in a safe. Inside were Flossie's pearl earrings. While setting it down a customer tried to buy it for 25 dollars. Liz was hesitant to except because she wanted to buy a bike with it, but she didn't because it was a family heirloom she did not wanna sell.

Treasure in the attic is an example of the value and backstory behind certain objects. Even if they can be the most general or generic items, the backstory of the person who used it or the way it was passed down can change the price from worthless, to expensive in memories. The subjects of the story are Emma and Liz, who just so happen try to find their grandma Flossie's heirlooms. While they search they find a diary. They become even more invested and want to find out the backstory and who the story was about. when they come across Mr.snow who just so happens to know a "Flossie" They then receive a paper and it was the heirlooms! There was a person who wanted to buy them but they reconsidered and said no due to the value of it!

The story started in Liz's basement, Liz and Emma trying to find anything to sell so Liz can buy a new bike. While looking they found a diary for their Great Grandma talking about giving her pearl earrings to Anna Snow to pay her debts. Liz and Emma decided to go to Snow's General Store to try to find answers. They learn that the store owner Mr. Snow is Anna Snow's grandson and remember Liz and Emma's great grandmother's name but can't remember why. Near the end of the drama story Mr. Snow finds an envelope for Flossie Howard, Liz and Emma's grandmother's name and they find the pearl earrings inside. Slightly later a customer wanted to buy the earrings but after some thought Liz decided not to sell the earrings.
