-Reading at least three books with them per day
-Using writing utensils daily (pencils, crayons, markers, etc.)
-Doing their homework with them (sharing, talking, and listening)

-Limiting screen time

The habits they create now stay with them for the rest of their lives. Talk with your child often about how they are feeling. If they are upset, model appropriate ways for them to express their feelings.
